On this page, you will find information on how to use the VR4VET environment with VR glasses or on your computer. You will need a Meta account and a VR headset or computer. There are three ways to use the environment:<\/p>\n
Follow these two steps on your computer to install and start the VR4VET application on your Meta Quest headset.<\/p>\n
Open a web browser and sign in to the Meta account you want to use with VR4VET: https:\/\/auth.meta.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n Visit: https:\/\/www.meta.com\/s\/5hk2rWK03<\/a><\/p>\n Click Join. After joining, the VR4VET application will automatically install on the VR headset linked to your Meta account. (You only need to join once.)<\/p>\n Current version: 0.17.2 \/ 3.2.2026<\/em><\/p>\n With VR4VET PC\u2011VR you can use other VR headsets such as Pico, HTC Vive, and Valve Index. You will need a PC running the application and your VR headset connected to it.<\/p>\n 1. Install<\/strong><\/p>\n 2. Connect your headset via USB\u2011C 3.0<\/strong><\/p>\n 3. Put on the headset<\/strong> (Quest: Enable Link, Pico: Confirm in Streaming Assistant, Vive\/Index: SteamVR opens \u2192 Enter VR)<\/p>\n 4. Start VR4VET PC\u2011VR<\/strong> \u2192 SteamVR opens \u2192 Enter VR<\/p>\n Requirements: Wi\u2011Fi 6 + PC connected via ethernet<\/p>\n 1. Install VR4VET PC-VR<\/strong> + SteamVR (Check Wired setup instructions above)<\/p>\n 2. Enable wireless mode<\/strong> (Quest Air Link, Pico Wireless mode)<\/p>\n 3. Start VR4VET PC\u2011VR<\/strong> \u2192 Headset connects \u2192 SteamVR opens<\/p>\n With this version, you only need a microphone, mouse, and keyboard.
